A bucket list is a set of goals you want to accomplish before you die. A good way to start creating your bucket list is by writing down ideas as they come to you. Don't worry about how many ideas you come up with, write as many as you can and start to organize which ones you can accomplish first. This list defines you as a person, it represents all the exciting adventures you've always wanted to do. One of the most important things to include in your list is something you can do today. In order to be successful you have to get rid of the someday mindset. Pick something easy like taking a dance class or starting yoga, as well as the outrageous skydiving type of activities.
Here are a few questions you can ask yourself that might help you get creative with your list.
When your sitting with your grandchildren on your lap and they want to hear more of your stories, which ones will you be able to tell them? Where do you want to go? Who do you admire and why?
There are also a few helpful categories that might make it easier to come up with your own list.
Travel, Maybe you are interested in spending a month in Australia, experiencing Oktoberfest in Germany or learning how to surf in Hawaii.
Hobbies, Improve your skiing skills and learn how to do a 360 or grind, on a double black diamond hill, grow your own vegetable garden or invent a cocktail.
Big Idea, How can I golf with tiger woods, sing onstage with a favorite musician.
Contribution, Support a cause by running a marathon, write a book, showcase your art in a gallery.
Learn how to do something, Learn how to play the drums, take a photography course or cook a gourmet meal like the pro's.
The most important thing about creating a bucket list is to have fun!
