Charles Bronson is buried in the Brownsville Cemetery in West Windsor, Vermont.

Charles Bronson was an actor who was renowned for having a tough, bad guy image on screen. He starred in American films such as The Dirty Dozen, The Magnificent Seven and the popular Death Wish series. He died in 2003 at the age of 81 from pneumonia. Bronson was buried near his farm in Vermont. He was buried with his cane, which held the ashes of his wife Jill Ireland who died in 1990 from breast cancer. He used the cane throughout the rest of his life until his death.The stone marking his grave is particularly interesting.

Bronson's grave marking is flat to the ground and engraved into it is the poem Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep by Mary Elizabeth Frye. The poem is supposed to be told from the perspective of the deceased - the poem eases the grief of the mourners who read it and soothes them by showing them that the deceased's spirit is not gone but can be found everywhere in nature.
